Here's a 1986 graduation photo from Resurrection Elementary School. Resurrection Parish still stands atop the highest peak in Brookline, but the Elementary School stands as a vacant reminder of Ressi's proud past. How many thousand Brookline children tred the now silent halls, today used only on Saturday's for catechism classes? As I look at the huge school I wonder how on earth the parish manages to maintain it. I do pray that someday, somehow the diocese finds a suitable use for the facility and does not let it fall prey to the wrecking ball. Only time will reveal the answer.
