Here is a graduation class photo from Brookline Elementary School's Class of 1924, reprinted from the Brookline Journal. It is interesting to note that the girls were required to make their own dresses at that time and black and white shoes and stocking were in style. The young boys were all outfitted in suits, and if you look closely, three or four of the boys are wearing narrow knit ties.
