The first game on the new Senior field was played in July 1977 and was won by the Brookline Lions Club over Stebbrook Healthland. The Lions went on to capture the first league title on the new field. I played in that particular game and can remember how strange it was playing on such a large field, especially after the pint-sized field we were used to.
