The Brookline Mural was completed in 1996 and has become the community "Welcome Mat" as it beckons to motorists heading up Brookline Boulevard from the intersection with West Liberty Avenue. The mural is maintained by the Brookline Area Community Council and Boy Scout Troop 6.
