Chatham Center, located on the lower hill district next to the Civic Arena, is a combination hotel and office complex. A parking garage is built underneath the complex. Originally, there was a Howard Johnsons Hotel, then a Hyatt Regency. Now, the hotel is called the Marriot City Center.

The office buildings include the original One Chatham Center, built in the late 1960s, and Two Chatham Center, built in 1981.
